What a fund really costs once everything is counted
On top of the management fee, trading costs and custody charges for overseas assets are taken out of the fund. The full figure only appears in the fund report, and it is normally higher than the fee on the label. Two funds tracking the same index can differ here.
A fund advertising 0.1% can work out at 0.18% all in.
