What one share costs right now
A share price is set where buy and sell orders meet on the exchange. More buyers push it up, more sellers push it down. Earnings and the economy matter, but so do interest rates, currencies, and what investors expect. A high price does not mean a big company — the same company's price halves after a two-for-one split.
