Dividend per share

How much dividend one share pays

In detail

The total dividend divided by the number of shares, which is what you will actually receive per share. Divide it by the price for the yield, or by earnings per share for the payout ratio. Companies publish a forecast figure as well as what was really paid.

Example

A dividend of $50 a share on 100 shares pays $5,000.
